I have been teaching in urban schools for 19 years.

I believe in hands-on, go-see-it, just do it, kinds of teaching. I give students these opportunities, as well as experience with partners and small cooperative groups, workshop experience after a small mini-lesson, followed by sharing and discussion, projects and presentations, computer use, and music and theater.

Received my National Board Certification in 2002.
