As soon as I read the description of the game, I was really excited to use it in my classroom because I have a lot of wiggly kiddos! I loved the idea of them being able to throw a soft ball or object to answer the problems. I am heavy on boys and knew they'd love this! However, I don't know if it was just my Smart Board, but it would not recognize the answer if you threw the ball at it. I even tried myself throwing it hard and it would not work. Then with the light touch of the pen it worked. I bought it thinking throwing the balls would work so I was disappointed when it did not. Then about halfway through the Powerpoint, when you would answer questions and get them right, it would no longer take you back to the main page where you choose another problem by clicking on the page with all the various circles. I had to go back through the Powerpoint at a certain point and click back to go to the page with all the circles so that I could ensure my students got to do each problem. It was kind of a pain in the butt. It worked great half way through and took me back to the main page, but then it just seemed to be messed up. Overall, the students did enjoy the game, but on my end, it was frustrating having to go back to find different problems for them to do myself.

I am sorry for your difficulties. The koosh ball issue may be a difference with how the smart boards or their sensitivities are set up, it works great on my board. Also, after answering a question make sure you click on the image on the top right hand corner of the powerpoint slide to revert back to the main page. I went through the powerpoint and double-checked that all the links work. Please feel free to re-download the game and see if it works better for you this time around!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a recent college grad, having graduated in May at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, and am proud to say now also a first year 1st grade teacher! I did my student teaching at a small catholic school in Ashland, Ohio and was offered the 1st grade teaching position less than 2 months after I left and couldn´t be more excited to see what my first year holds in store for me!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I am a fun, hands on teacher. It bores me to have my students sitting at their desks all day long so I can only imagine how it feels like to be the one doing the sitting!
