TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching first grade for 8 years. I am currently the Team Leader for my grade level. Prior to that, I was the campus ESL Team Leader for three years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that in order to grow as a teacher, you need to be flexible and willing to change your style to meet the needs of your students. I learn as much from my young students as I teach them :)

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was honored as Teacher of the Year at my campus for the 2009-2010 school year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received a M.Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL Emphasis in the spring of 2011.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a mom whose only child is attending college :) I am also a mommy to two loveable boxers.
