This has been my students' favorite unit this year. Each day they were excited to hear a new Cinderella story and to compare them to the "traditional" English Cinderella story we were reading in our literature text and the multicultural ones we were reading as part of our unit.

In the section about Equivalent Fractions, you give an explanation about doing the same thing to the numerator and the denominator. Then you go on to show 2 examples. There is an error...when making an equivalent fraction, you are not multiplying by 2 or 3, you are multiplying by 2/2 and 3/3 (equivalents of 1, which are supported by the Identity Property of Multiplication).
