I graduated from LSU with a degree in elementary education and have taught every grade from 4th through 9th. My most relevant experience, however has come since I have decided to stay home with my 4 (almost 5) little ones and homeschool them. My oldest daughter is in first grade. I am also teaching beginning preschool skills to my 3 year old. I love learning, and I love to share what I have learned.

I believe in simply having a reasonable expectation for a child in any learning situation and holding them to it. They will meet the mark every time. This goes for my little ones as well as my first grader. Children usually just need to know what we expect of them, and they generally want to please us grown-ups. More specifically, we homeschool classically. We use a combination of Rod and Staff, Saxon, and Classical Conversations.
