I have taught a span of grade levels, Kindergarten through seventh and loved them all. After having taught for ten years I transitioned to authoring a language arts framework called Read Think Apply, a framework based on standards-based instruction and differentiation. Read Think Apply is now used in seven different schools and I continue to coach and support teachers to employ the framework in their classrooms.
Know our students well and continually show them that you believe in them. This makes differentiation not only possible, but more meaningful to our students.
