I thought I could open this in Word, but it isn't working. Do you have it in Word or some other format?

I have made that item a free item so that you can try downloading it again. I changed the file to an RTF file. Please let me know if you are still unable to open it. I can always e-mail you with it. My apologies.

I cannot open this lesson under the format in which you saved it. Can you just save it as a PDF?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a language arts teacher for sixteen years. I specialize in middle school language arts instruction. I have been a teacher in Arizona, Nebraska, Virginia, and Kentucky and have worked with urban and rural populations.

MY TEACHING STYLE

First and foremost, I have to connect with my students. Then I find out their interests and draw on those ideas for my lessons. I believe that good teaching comes from a heavy dose of self-reflection on my part. Only then do I find lessons that are meaningful for my students.
