I purchased the Spring Fever Math Centers and love them. I believe there is a small mistake on p. 57 of the Graph It Data sheet. I am so so sorry you are having problems!! I haven't had anyone else have this problem, but I asked a few friends and here's what I got to maybe solve it:
-If you are on a mac, make sure you are opening the file in adobe reader and not preview
-When you go to print, make sure the image in the print preview is what you want it to look like and if not, you may need to click "fit to print"
Now, there are a few of the recording sheets where the pictures are meant to be a little sideways and not completely on the page, but you should be seeing that when you are looking at the file (not sure if that makes sense).
If you still can't get it to work, maybe contact TpT support and they might be able to help you.

The game has character clipart holding a picture (with the word underneath), and the kids match the pictures that rhyme. For example, they would match cards where Frankenstein is holding a duck and where a vampire is holding a truck (the vampire and Frankenstein are "cute," not scary). I included the words for each picture (in this example, duck and truck) in case you wanted to use the recording sheet to record the words for the pictures that rhymed. I hate to sound picky or critical but did you realize that "raccoon" is mispelled on the card to identify beginning sounds? It's really not a big deal because it doesn't effect the activity, but I thought you might like to know. Thanks again for a great unit!

Hi Vickie--I just have a question about the apples aplenty unit. I know you have to make your unit appeal to more than just Kindergarten. But are your kinders able to do a majority of these activities because I'm feeling way behind if they are. My kiddos haven't been introduced to rhyming, 10 frames, ending sounds, or addition yet. I teach overseas (but American children) so I sometimes feel out of touch and I've noticed many of the beginning of the year units I've purchased are just way too hard so I'm wondering if kids are coming in to you teachers back home way more prepared than my own (for example, I have 3 kids who know ALL of the alphabet, 5 who can't write their name yet, 2 that recognize numbers up to 20). Just curious--

Oh my goodness! Do not feel like you are behind...at this point in the year, most of my class still needs help with many of these activities. I also differentiate my centers, so my high group is using the rhyming center and the wagon sound center because they are ready for it. The others are doing the letter match and sound match (with some help). We also use the syllable game with help (for example, right now we might do it in whole group). As far as the math, we are only on number 5 right now, so for the games using numbers and ten frames (and/or dice), I only put out those numbers. We have hit on addition just because we spend a week on each number, so we go ahead and decompose (a new standard here in K). I also haven't done ending sounds, but like you said, I put it in there for the classes who might have some higher kiddos. You may think this is rude since you so graciously shared your polka dot number posters, but do you happen to have one for the number zero? I hate to leave zero out. I was going to try to print the number and ten frame and number word for zero and paste it over another number, but then it wouldn't have the coordinating colors. If you did it in orange, it would still create a pattern. I like how you did that also. Just a thought. I would highly recommend her book. The one we use is Small-Group Reading Instruction: A Differentiated Teaching Model for Beginning and Struggling Readers...it comes with a CD with everything you need for your small groups. The book does not include the plan/sequence for teaching the 26 letters, but if you decide to do her model, email me and I can tell you more about it and more about the 26 lessons. I plan to use your 1-10 tens frame instead of my regular numbers and would love to add 11-20 to my bulletin board. Last school year, my students had difficulties understanding the concept of 10 and 3 more was 13. I thought your visual representation would be a continual reinforcement of this skill. If you consider making 11-20 in tens frames, please let me know.
