I used this with 6th and 7th graders and it was great. I always give them smarties to use as bingo markers, and if they got a bingo, they got to pick from my prize box, AFTER they read back to me what each translation was. I was shocked to find that many of my kids couldn't remember which was vertical and horizontal, but after several rounds, they all had it. Thanks!

This was great - SO much better than the hard-to-remember Gallon Man idea. :) My only suggestion is that I have seen versions which incorporate the "8" for 8 fluid ounces for each cup/cat into the story at the end... But other that that, it is a great product and my students really like it! Thank you!

Once you unzip the folder, do not open the game itself. Right-click on the icon, choose copy, and then where you want it on your computer. It is still read-only, but saved for future use! Thank you for sharing your aunt's great ideas!

Hi...I love the tic-tac-toe game that you have set up. However, I teach fourth grade, and during our place value unit this would be over many of the students' heads. Would it be possible to modify with content that fits better with my curriculum? I can only see to view as a read-only without a password to modify. Please let me know...thanks!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Memorial Site is being maintained for our aunt who passed away in 2011. She taught for 19 years in rural and urban areas. She created all these projects and posted them to share with other teachers. As her family, we have made these items free and are happy to share her legacy with others. We do not have information or any way to modify or change the passwords on her items. We hope that they work for your needs and that her teaching legacy will continue.

Vintage Teacher passed away in 2011. The projects and activities were all created by her during her teaching years and her family has chosen to make all her items free for other teachers to use in her honor. Her family does not have any way to modify activities, or ways to change passwords so they can be more than read only. Sorry that we can not help but hate to remove all the items for these reasons. We appreciate you all using her things and send well wishes for many more happy school years to come.
