My school had the VHS version but there are a few on YouTube I found that are interesting versions if you need, as well as a link to the movie available on Amazon. I imagine if your school doesn't have it, the movie might be difficult to obtain. You might also check your local library.

I purchased your Charlotte's Web unit that included a PowerPoint game. Sadly as the children were playing, we discovered quite a few errors. Some of their selections revealed prompts on Napoleon and Snowball (???). Some of the vocabulary selections did not offer a vocabulary word to define but instead it asked a comprehension question. I would like to request that the errors are corrected and then resent to me. I know the kids will love it next year.

I apologize for the errors. It looks like I zipped the unfinished PowerPoint so I have fixed it and uploaded it again. There are a few chapters that are combined because they were shorter and the vocabulary in one of the chapters was more difficult than in another.

The questions following each chapter are multiple choice and short answer so they could be used as quizzes. Some of the questions near the end start to cover several chapters at a time because they are shorter chapters. There is also a cumulative test, as well as many activities and projects. The document itself is 55 pages long so there are a lot of resources. I think you will like it.

The first unit is free, the bundle of 1-5 or bundle of 6-10 are $25 each or all 10 for $45. There is a lot to work with. I am using it this year and it will take a whole semester. We are also working on a second semester of 10 lists. I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you yesterday. My school laptop crashed and I had to wait for a loaner. I went through every slide and could not find a link that wasn't working. Each time the answer came up when I pressed the play button. To get back to the main board I clicked on the car graphic and those worked too. Can you give me an example of a question that isn't working and then I can go back, try it again, and see what's happening with it? Then I can fix anything that's off or try and figure out what's causing the error and resend it to you to download again. Thanks so much, I appreciate the purchase and we will figure it out.

Thank you for the purchase and yes, I have the students take a fairy tale and make changes to characters, setting, and/or events. Usually I read a couple of well-known fairy tales the first few days of the unit. I'd estimate it would take approximately two and a half weeks including a day for peer feedback, maybe a little less. I especially like to read the book The Stinky Cheese Man and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by John Scieszka. They are fun to read.
