So just to clarify...!! By entries you mean the completed activities (Fact Sheet, Character Portrait, Setting Snapshot etc) not the Daily Reading Log. Correct?

I make a bunch of copies of pages 17-18 in the document and have them write reflections for their daily reading (to help prepare for state testing), and use the score sheet for that. However, I'm sure you could use it for the other activities as well! I just grade all of those separately and then count their reading log as a grade, and their journal entries as another grade. Hope that helps! :)

Hey Natasha!
I'd be happy to help! Basically, the idea is that you're grading more in terms of completion rather than thoroughness (though I guess you could use whatever criteria you'd like!). I use the calendar at the top to grade their entries and just place a + if I think they put a lot of effort and thought into their entry, a - if they completed an entry but maybe rushed through, or an X if they just didn't do it. Then at the end of the month, you can just use the scoring sheet at the bottom to total up the +'s, -'s, and X's to calculate their overall score. Hopefully that makes sense! It makes perfect sense in my head, but I may not be explaining it well! Let me know if you still have questions!

I bought your Class Job starter kit recently. I noticed on the form for thanking them for their work, at the top it has a typo. (Than you). Also, is there any way to update it with capital letters at the beginning of sentences? I hate to bother you, but it would make it absolutely perfect. I almost didn't buy it for seeing it that way on the preview, but really wanted yours as I thought it was the best one on here. My kids are super excited and taking a role in the class. This was just what I needed!

Thanks for catching that typo! I can't believe that I missed it! I'm in the process of correcting that as well as adding alternate pages with a font that contains capital letters. Now you'll have a choice between the original font and a different font when you go to print. I'll be updating the file on TpT tonight!

I am SO sorry I haven't gotten back to you! I just got married a couple of weeks ago and things have been a little crazy!
The slides are all saved as images, you just have to drag and drop them into the slideshow. To duplicate a slide that just has the background, right click on the slide in the thumbnail view and click 'duplicate slide.' I hope this helped you out-let me know if you still have questions!

Laura - your stuff looks AWESOME!! You've put a ton of work into it and it show!! Just a hint (hope that's okay)... you should put your name / copyright info on every page. I'd hate to see your work end up all over the place (especially places like Pinterest) and not have you get the credit you soooo deserve! Also, if people download it, it's nice for them to remember who made it, so they can come back and buy something later. I put mine in small font along the bottom of the page and then it's embedded in the pdf. Good luck!
