I noticed a few typing errors on this product. Quiz 7, question 2 has an apostrophe in sabotages. Quiz 8, question 5 has Christmas misspelled. On the Epilogue, question 2, fondue is misspelled. You might consider adding a NAME blank at the top of each quiz so the teacher doesn't have to add that. Thanks for making up the questions! I really love this book.

Unfortunately, I haven't written up a lesson plan for the summative letter. Typically, I had students write a formal letter addressed to the school administration in which they either argue the film's merits or encourage against its incorporation in class curriculum.

Hi Carrie. The quizzes assess the stories from pages 1-74, 90-127, of the paperback edition. I haven't taught the book in a few years and would recommend these particular quizzes--basic reading comprehension--more for a mainstreamed English I course. They work for assuring that students complete the reading, but they're not really designed for a closer reading.
