Wow...not sure why that is happening. I didn't secure the zip file with a password. Are you downloading on a mac or pc? Just wondering but I will check with the tech dept. to see what the problem could be. Sorry for the problem. Also wondering if you tried dragging it from your downloads onto your desktop to open. Sometimes when I use my pc at school I can't simply "open" files... instead I have to drag it to my desktop first then double click to open. Can you try that? Thank you!-Yvonne :)

Hi Laurie. I am attaching a link to the newsletter with copyright info. that Paul sent out in January to all sellers. It could prove quite helpful to you if you have questions. If you are wondering about using Scholastic poems I would recommend you get permission first as recommended to you in the seller's forum. The fairy tales and fables I have in my packet are "retold" in my own words. The resource materials to check for understanding of other reading materials/books are considered to be support materials much like cliff notes or activities. Hope this helps. Hi Katje! OH my goodness....no. You don't need to print all 490 pages. The second half of the notebook is a reduced ink option for those not wanting the notebook background. It is a duplicated version. Parts of the download are posters for EQ's, others will be pages for your student's notebooks, others are resources for you. I would recommend you read through the resources to pick and choose which items you would like to use. Most teachers don't use all components...they pick and choose what works best for their students. Let me know if you have questions. Also, just want to ask (but, I know it is a lot of work to revise anything!), if you would consider making them without such dark borders? I've sort of gotten in trouble for jamming up the copy machine when making copies of them and was told it may be because of all the black on the pages using a lot of ink?? Anyway, just asking! Hi Christine. Thank you for your question. I've provided different types of resources for you to use. I use the one minute tests as practice tests for my kiddos but use the bar graphs for my 5 minute weekly tests that include 100 items. You could use these however you like, though. You could use the graph and mark one minute instead of five and have your students mark a goal line at 35 problems. Hope this helps. Thank you!-Yvonne

I purchsed your January Daily practice and am using it daily. I appreciate all of your hard work. I am considering purchasing more but I really need page numbers. Is there any chance you will go back and add the page numbers? I put the math on one side and the Lang. on the other. It is tedious to scroll through and look for the right pages when I open the PDF on the SMARTBoard. Even having the month with the page number would be helpful to keep me organized. I am interested in buying this packet but would like a little closer look at some of your pages that go in the notebook. On the last page of the preview you have several examples but they are small and blurry. I want to make sure what I am buying will be useful to me. Would it be possible to put one or two full pages so they appear clear? You can put a preview stamp in the middle, I don't intend to print them but would like to see what I am buying before I spend the money.

Thank you for your interest. I use my tubs for an entire week with my skills/theme of the week but they could be done in a couple of days. You need to give the pretest first on one day, introduce the EQ cards, and then assign different students their tier-leveled cards. I hope you enjoy using them. Thank you!

I recently bought the Jan. and Feb. daily practice. I downloaded them on my MAC and opened them in Adobe to print. A few of the pages had a square instead of a letter. Just a few of them. I have lots of your things and never had a problem. The square is mostly at the bottom on the right side if you are looking for it. I can give you exact pages if you need them. :)

I wonder if your Adobe needs updating. Can you try the update and open in Adobe again? I created these on my Mac but regardless in pdf format you should see it the same way I do. I am in love with your Fairy Tales, Fables and Folktales unit. I am so excited to use it with my class.
