Dear Zags, I am your follower! I assume you have significant behavior kids in your self contained classroom. I am just retired from 30 years in deaf/hard of hearing 6th grade self contained. I can relate. I'm sending your "mainstream communication" check sheet to colleagues (ebd, dcd, autism, d/hh) who I know will benefit. Thanks for the reply and for sharing my page. I teach in a self contained ED/CD room with third, fourth and fifth graders. It is a challenge but I love it! Your sub plans are awesome. The best part is that I can use them for all of my grade levels because my kids are very low academically. I look forward to seeing what else you have to offer!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for seven years in an elementary school. I have co-taught second, third, fourth,and fifth grade. For the past five years I have co-taught strictly in one third grade classroom. This year I have taken a position in a self contained, cross categorical classroom with third, fourth, and fifth graders.
