My 8th grade students loved this! I printed the cards on paper and glued them on cardstock. They worked in groups of 3-5 students. Some groups finished in 8-10 mins; it took other groups closer to 15 mins. It really helped students pay attention to details such as cuatro vs cuarto. For those groups who finished early, I gave them 9 blank cards to see if they could create their own similar puzzle.

I added this to my horoscope unit. (I have them go to a bulletin board, choose a proverb, and use it as the core of an explanation for one of their 'signs.') I can always find a use for your products!

Thank you for your feedback. I have added directions and changed a few of the sentences. Most now have question / answer pairs. Remind students to watch for agreements (voiture / elle & livre / il) and for question / answer subject pairings (in this activity I always use je / tu and nous / vous).

This is one of those activities that I always thought of doing but never got around to doing so. It would be nice if I didn't have to open a new file for each category, but other than that, we had fun playing Eclat in class.

These are really great and easy to learn acronmyns to remember when to use l'imparfait. Deciding to use passe compose or l'imparfait can be one of the most difficult things for French students to learn. These make it easier. Merci!

Your sudokus are great to use an emergency lesson plan for subs (just keep extra copies on hand!) or as a time filler for students who finish early.
I do have some students who try to assign a number to each word to make it easier to solve but I make them still write the words when they're done. Any other suggestions?

I make the students write it out too. Do you think your students could use harder puzzles? All 5 are easy level. I could add 2 medium and 2 hard if you don't think it would be too difficult. I will be listing a different format Sudoku this weekend for free - with picture, French and English.
