I think the language should be simplified for parents. The examples and activities should be included on the powerpoint so it's easier to explain how to do the activities. Parents don't always speak or understand school language.
The ideas were ok in this, but I do not think it was worth $2.00. I couldn't get a preview so I had no idea that what I was purchasing was something this small, I could have typed up these ideas on a blank sheet. Very disappointed.
I have tried several times to send you a message through the ask a question link. They don't seem to be going through so I'm sorry for trying this way. I would be interested in the make and take part of the parent night powerpoint. Honestly, the make and takes were my sole reason for purchasing that. Please email me at michelle.dorty@fsd145.org. Thanks!
I am sorry that you were so disappointed. I did not intend to be misleading in my description. If you would like me to send the materials that I used for the make and takes to you, please send me your email address. I did not create the make and takes myself so that is why they were not included.
Ask lynne eckhout a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.

Lacuna re: Parent Literacy Night Comprehension Slideshow
Where are the question wheel and bookmark templates and examples? The powerpoint tells the parents what they will be doing it but some of this activity is missing.
These activities are not included. I just found these activities online at the time that I created the sideshow and made them myself. Here is something similar to what I used: http://kristen-millet.wikispaces.com/file/view/Reading+Comprehension+Question+Wheels.doc
