Congratulations to our winners!
Why?
Our environment is suffering. Beyond changing our light bulbs and driving a hybrid, the best thing we can do to combat climate change is by doing what we do best: teaching. By sharing your knowledge and skills, you can do your part to make a bigger difference.
Who can enter?
Any educator in K-12 education.
How do I enter?
Register now to submit your lesson plan. Submissions will be accepted between January 20, 2008 and April 30, 2008. Entrants must be legal residents of the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and must be at least 18 years of age. Click here for ideas.
How does the rating work?
Online rating by teachers will help our expert panel narrow submissions to 10 finalists in three grade range categories: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Then 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be determined for each grade category by June 30, 2008.
What are the prizes?
For each of the three grade range categories, the choice of prizes will be as follows:
1st Place---$1,000 or 50,000 Bonus Points
2nd Place----$500 or 25,000 Bonus Points
3rd Place-----$200 or 10,000 Bonus Points
