In this 3-5 day unit, students will view a documentary, read an article, and interpret a graphic to finally write a letter urging a new driver not to use their cell phone while driving. This would fulfill requirements for ELA as well as could be used in a health or driver education class. The article and documentary come with text based questions to ask students to get them to go back into the text and provide evidence for their actions.
