For the scavenger hunt, there are 12 questions that need to be printed and hung in random order around the room. There is an included worksheet (and answer key) for students to complete as they walk around the room solving the problems. The answer they get from one problem will lead them to the next

This scavenger hunt will get students up and moving while introducing them to exponential equations. Great for a day one activity to help students solidify the concept that they can solve for variables in the exponent by first creating a common base. The stations in this activity are named after fam

This is a great practice or review activity for algebra classes that almost runs itself! It allows students to get up, get active, work together to get better at solving 20 exponential equations and simplifying exponential expressions.Included:20 different exponential equations to solve or expressio

In this summary activity, students work their way through 16 stations. Each station presents an exponential or logarithmic equation to be solved. The solution provides the clue for selecting the next station. Students complete the circuit by solving all 16 equations. Background skills needed: Student

Exponential and Logarithmic Equations Scavenger Hunt
This scavenger hunt activity consists of 16 problems in which students practice solving exponential and logarithmic equations. The equations require knowledge of the logarithmic properties and the use of logarithms and exponentials as inverses.

Scavenger hunts are great because they get students up and moving around the room. They also encourage students to check their work carefully since an incorrect answer will leave them stuck at a dead end. Successfully completing the scavenger hunt requires students to slow down and check their work.
