This is a map labeling activity that I have used in Honers Western Civ. & Western Civ. The map could easily be used for a World History or Geography class as well. The map focuses on the spread of Islam. Students need to write out where these locations are. This is also a good study tool for the unit test which requires them to identify some of the major geographic features in the region.
