I use this activity with my students to introduce them to three strategies for solving larger multiplication problems. We do the problem together and then they reason and justify which one they think works best for them. The strategies chart can be used with multiple problems! Please let me know how
I teach an intensive support program class for students with autism. I have laminated these mats and students use them as tools for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I have provided the mats in white or 6 colour copies. Colour coding ownership is an important accommodation.
This is a student Progress Chart for the daily Quick Checks I give my students the day after each math lesson.
We use Envision Math. The Progress Chart allows the student to chart their progress by graphing the score they received for each day's Quick Check. At the end of each Topic, the Progress
