Splattern is a brain teaser that can be used as a whole class activity, as centers, or for early finishers. It challenges the students to match symbols and/or letters by looking for patterns. Students cut out the bottom portion of the page and then around the pattern tables. They then try to find the matching sequence of symbols on the top of the page with their pieces.
