In this project, students will work with their family to disguise a turkey to prevent him/her from getting eaten for Thanksgiving! Once they return the disguised turkey, they will complete a writing assignment.
I've done this activity with my students for years, and the students and parents LOVE it! It's so much fun seeing what they come up with :)

"Turkey in Disguise" is one of my FAVORITE projects of the year. I strongly encourage family involvement with this project, especially with the younger grades. 3rd graders and older would be more likely to complete this project independently or in class.

Use these templates to disguise your turkey for the disguise a turkey writing lesson. Included are templates for Santa Clause, A Snowman and a Superhero. Use cotton balls to complete Santa and the Snowman. Have students cut out the design, color and glue on to a forward facing turkey.

Be a master of disguise! Have your kiddos use materials to disguise a turkey from being eaten on Thanksgiving!
