My students are K-6 students that come to Library Activity Classes and 7-12 students. They learn Library Skills, Technology Skills and Information, and Research Skills. Right now with K-6 students, we are covering Book Awards and Print sources for research (Encyclopedia, dictionary, thesaurus, atlas, and almanac). 7-12 Teachers bring students to me to teach Research skills. There are many resources for teaching Library, Technology and Research skills that I use from TpT. We do not have textbooks to teach these skills, so I have to find resources to use. Several of the items have powerpoints to use and Digital Breakouts that are wonderful to assess students after teaching the skills and information. I also find resources for posters and other informational materials that are wonderfully colorful and professional looking!!!! The 4-6 grade students love the digital breakouts because they have fun and don't realize they're being assessed!!
