Description

Use this assessment to assess division skills! This set includes 13 pages of division problems and an answer key.

This assessment will help you assess: CCSS.Math.Content.5.NBT.B.6

Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.

The first two problems are basic division word problems. Question 3 and 5 require the students to solve division problems using arrays or area models, while 4 and 6 are the answers to the problem.

Question 7 and 8 have them create an expression for a model and solve. Question 9 and 10 are multi-step word problems.

There are also 16 task cards that have word problems, array questions, and area model questions. Each word problem asks children to include an equation and model to show how they solved the problem.
