After your students have learned their -ER verbs and can say what they like, have them complete this writing that displays their knowledge in a fun way!
In this writing, your students will write a letter to an unknown French Pen Pal talking about their activities, likes, and dislikes. Attached is the writing prompt given to students. The rubric I used is on the second page of the document. It is adapted and reformatted, but stems from ACTFL's Proficiency Rubrics (Intermediate Low/Mid).
After the class wrote their letters, I photocopied them and exchanged them with my other French class. It was a fun way for the two groups to interact with each other--even if they weren't friends before!
