The Building Blocks of Creative Thinking Workshop meets the requirements for the CA Dept. of Education’s Gifted Program Standards

This workshop is suggested for grades 4-6.

This workshop includes everything you need for a complete interactive unit on Creative Thinking Characteristics. Just like a star soccer player needs coaching and time to practice their soccer skills and techniques, so do gifted learners. Here’s a workshop that gives gifted students a chance to understand what characteristics make up a creative problem solver and time to practice each one.

As a GATE Teacher, I created this workshop as part of a monthly GATE Enrichment Pullout Program. It’s tested and approved by over 100 gifted learners.

Several brain friendly strategies are in place as well, such as: flow, laughter, art, movement and chunking
