What does it take to be a Creative Thinker? What are the best ways to come up with the most Creative Solutions? Here’s an easy activity to provide GATE differentiation and enrichment to your classroom or routine
A complete 2.5 Hour Enrichment Workshop for a GATE pullout program, Monthly Gifted Curriculum, Parent-led enrichment, Grade-level rotation, Homeschool, After-school or Sub Plans
The Building Blocks of Creative Thinking Workshop meets the requirements for the CA Dept. of Education’s Gifted Program Standards
This workshop is suggested for grades 4-6.
This workshop includes everything you need for a complete interactive unit on Creative Thinking Characteristics. Just like a star soccer player needs coaching and time to practice their soccer skills and techniques, so do gifted learners. Here’s a workshop that gives gifted students a chance to understand what characteristics make up a creative problem solver and time to practice each one.
As a GATE Teacher, I created this workshop as part of a monthly GATE Enrichment Pullout Program. It’s tested and approved by over 100 gifted learners.
Several brain friendly strategies are in place as well, such as: flow, laughter, art, movement and chunking
