-OI or -OY?
This unit contains three activities to reinforce the use of -oy and -oi words.
1. Choose The Right Word. Students read sentence cards and determine which word from a Word Box goes on the blank in the sentences. The words are then written on the child's record sheet.
2. -OI/ -OY Word Sort. Students sort word cards into two categories: -OI words and -OY words. A record sheet is provided, as well as a sheet where words written on coins are colored if they have the correct sound spelling.
3. Sentence Writing. Students use their knowledge of -OI and -OY words to create their own sentences using words with each of these sound spellings.
