Students will demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between letters and sounds by identifying the –sh consonant digraph and its sound. Making a great centers activity, they will work independently to identify beginning diagraph sounds and create additional words for the given diagraph.
Packet includes lesson plan using Dr. Seuss', One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book; pre-assessment spelling sheet, and worksheets for applied practice.
On the rhyming fish worksheet, have your students add the diagraph to the sign the fish is holding with its fins (e.g. -sh).
