Product Description
Understanding the setting of a story can be a difficult skill for little learners to understand. With this activity, students can practice using their inferencing skills by uncovering the setting using the provided picture clue cards!

With 7 different settings provided, you can use this activity in a whole group setting and also in centers/small groups! To use this activity, show students a clue card one at a time. Students will love drawing each picture in the clue boxes. Once all clues have been given students will guess the setting based on the clues. They will then draw the setting in the big box provided including many details!

We have included two options for the recording sheet to differentiate for even the littlest learners! To extend the learning opportunities, we have two varieties of journal pages for each setting.
We hope these activities help your kiddos deepen their knowledge of setting and solidify their inferring skills!
