You are the most popular kitten around town and you know how to throw the purrfect party. However, you forgot to send the invites out to your friends. You were really bummed out until you realized that you can just pop on by each friend's kitty house to see if they have time to come over.
Players must start at the grey kitten and make their way to the party by rolling the dice. On each turn, a player must pick a Purrfect Party game card. First, the player must real all three words, then use one in a sentence, and then lastly find a rhyme for one of the words. Do all of the three things correctly and the student may pick a guest for his/her party from the list. The player to have the most friends at his/her celebration wins!
In this Smarten-Up file folder game, students will have plenty of opportunity to practice reading mixed digraphs -sh,-th, and -ch. Students will have a great time earning the kittens while thinking about rhyme patterns and word meanings.
*print additional invite cards depending on the number of players.
