This resource includes NO PREP worksheets for this word family.
I create products that I see a need for in my own classroom.
I could not find word family pages that I thought my students could enjoy, so I created my own! My students work through the following activities with each word family:
Word Search: I have students get out different colors and each time they find a word they color it in a different color.
Read it, Stamp it, Write it: Students stamp their words with letter stampers and then write it.
Rainbow Words: Students write each word 5 times in a different color in the rainbow
Crayon, Maker, Pencil: Students write their words 3 times, once in crayon then in marker then in pencil
Roll a Word: Students roll a die, whatever it rolls on they write that word
Building Words: Students cut out the letters and rearrange them to make words, Finally they glue them in the space above
Tracing Words: Students practice their hand writing by tracing the words.
Scrabble Words: Students use the points above to write an addition sentence for their word. They finally find which word has the most points.
Vowels and Consonants: Students write their words with red and blue markers. The vowels are in red and the consonants in blue.
Flash Cards: These are perfect for practicing students reading fluency.
