*I created these to help my SDC kiddos recognize and state numbers, as well as write numbers to 100….without taking up tons of room
*Numbers 1-100 (number and word) that are small enough to fit in their desks.
How I use them…
*I print them out on construction paper (usually a different color for each set so that the students can see how many numbers they have mastered….as well as to help me keep track
*I have the students cut out the numbers on Monday and then hole punch them so that the students can have them on a ring to practice throughout the week.
*On Friday, I test the students on writing the numbers (usually just have the students use their whiteboards or a 100 grid that I have handy), recognizing numbers in random order, as well as stating and counting each number.
*If the students are able to do all of the above, then they get a sticker (Yay!!!!), and get to go onto the next set of numbers. Some students pass every week, while others are still working on numbers 1-10
* I also cut out a copy for myself to use as a pass to come into the class after recess and lunch time to practice random numbers in a quick easy way.
