Included are the following items that are perfect for back to school and all year long!! You can print everything here on 8.5x11 inch paper, but I would suggest having them blown up to be poster sized (had mine all done on 18x24 paper on www.shortrunposters.com for $2.97 each)!
*A classroom constitution- This can be made poster-sized and completed together or printed individually for students to complete at the beginning of the year.
* A “My Job/Your Job” poster. Again, this is probably best used when printed as a poster and completed at the beginning of the year!
*A list of helpful Web sites that I hang by my student computers within the classroom.
*Reading/literary device Anchor Charts. I have used these in a couple of ways. I have made all of these into posters, which I placed on the wall of my room all year long. This was helpful to students, as they provided, with a quick glance, a reminder of what to do when they became stuck. I also have used this in conjunction with the “example anchor” sheets that I have included here. When first teaching each reading strategy, you can give students one of these quarter pages and have them write a quality example of the strategy. I place the printed anchor chart on a bulletin board and then have the students place their examples around the outside. It look great and gets the kids practicing.
Anchor Charts Included:
*Warm and Cool Feedback Peer Review Posters- Again, these posters would look great blown up and left up all year long to remind students how to properly conduct warm and cool feedback with fellow classmates. Both warm and cool feedback forms are also included.
