This interaction short story is great for using with learners with autism or other communication disabilities. It allows students to follow along with the story, but stay engaged as they have to match the correct picture to each page.
These stories are great to use with students 1:1 on or in small groups taking turns to place the matching pictures on.
My students ages 3-5 with varying needs LOVE these books!
Page #3 should be cut in half. The right side is the cover for the book and the left side are the pieces you will cut apart to use for matching.
Cut pages #4-9 in half. These are the other pages to your book.
Leave page #10 as a whole sheet. This is the back page to your book. You will velcro the pictures for matching into these squares.
Laminate all half pages and cut them out. Place them in the correct order. Use the circle guides for punching your holes. Use binder rings, or ignore the punch holes to use a binding machine to put your book together.
