This is the very best way to teach vocabulary. In this 30-40 minute teaching session your students (or you) will learn the following words; adulation, astute, avarice, culpable, evanescent, irresolute, novice, penury, slovenly, and torpid.
When you go through the new vocabulary words for the first three rounds you will create an original sentence each time utilizing the new vocab word. For example when you show the picture of the lady who can't decide on whether to eat an apple or a hotdog you'll say "This lady is irresolute. She can't decide what to eat." And so on and so forth. The rest is self explanatory.
The students will answer simple questions with the new words for exposure. By the end of the lesson, the proverbial training wheels come off and they are producing with the new words. This method works!
