As the warmer months approach, we look for ways to keep our students engaged in learning over the summer months.
One way to do that is by sending home engaging experiments for students to do! Included in this packet are 10 activities and experiments that all can be done at home using a lot of items that are found around the house or can be purchased inexpensively. As always, all activities and experiments should be done with adult consent and supervision. Each experiment or activity gives step by step directions, as well as a materials or supplies list.
Activities and Experiments Included:
Squirt Gun Volcanoes
Alka Seltzer Rockets
Glowing Volcano Eruption
Liquid Sidewalk Chalk
I printed out the booklets on colored paper and hooked them on a binder ring. Also included in this product is an observation journal for the children to write their findings in. I printed it on a different color, but also attached it to the binder ring.
My students love summer and they love science! It’s the perfect combination!
