# 100 Less Memory Game - Aligned with Common Core Standards

Product Description
This is a Memory game to help students understand 100 less (or subtracting 100) as a mental math strategy. Each page has 8 cards (a total of 24 cards). You will need to cut out the cards along the black lines. Each card has either a 100 less than... or a number. There is a matched number for each 100 less than... Numbers are color-coded for odd and even numbers (blue = even and red = odd).

Directions for Play:
First, shuffle the cards and lay them face down on the table.
Students will take turns playing. The player whose last name comes first in the alphabet may start and then play will move to the right.
When it is your turn, turn over two cards. If you have a matching “100 LESS than…” and number(ex. 100 LESS than 142 and 132), you will keep the pair. If you do not have a matching “100 LESS than…” and number, play moves on to the next player.
The player who has the greatest number of matching
“100 LESS than…” and number pairs will win!
