Use this Spanish sight word list to help students increase their reading fluency levels. Make two copies, front and back. Use one copy for the student and one for the teacher. Give students a one-minute quick read test on these words. As students read the words, you circle the words read incorrectly on your copy and make notes of how the students pronounced the incorrect word. Use the second page to post students' reading results.
I like to staple the clean copy on a manila folder so students can take home and practice each day. I do a cold read test on Mondays and a hot read on Fridays to check for growth. I write in fluency tracking results on their copy, too, so parents can see how their children are doing. Check out Marysteachingtools.com for more!
