Use this independent station to practice number recognition to 100. The best part is-- it's self-checking. If the students did the task correctly, they will create a word, letter, or number on their 100 chart.
To make this simple station, print, cut the numbers apart, and place them in an envelope or bag. Have hundreds charts available for students to color. Students will reach into the bag, find the number that matches, and color it in on their 100s chart. After all the numbers have been picked out of the bag, the students will have created a 100s chart Art. They love trying to guess what they are making as they go or guess what number they may pull out.
There are 8 designs and directions included in this set. Each design set is color-coded or in a different font for easy organization and clean up. This is a great activity to work on the social skill of taking turns and practicing patience when working with a partner. Enjoy!
