Looking for a way to keep your 100th day celebration more academic based with a twist of technology integration and fun? This QR code math scavenger hunt will help you do just that!
In this activity, students scan 29 different QR codes. Each code reveals a math question to be solved along with several possible answers and a coordinate for each. As students color in the coordinates of correct answers a hidden picture will be revealed on the included template (a 100)
The following math concepts are included:
Questions 1-5: Place value (10s/1s with and without base 10 blocks)
Questions 6-8: Time to the hour and half hour
Questions 9-10: Interpreting a graph
Questions 11-15: Repeating patterns and skip counting by 5s,10, and 2s patterns
Questions 16-18: Doubles facts
Questions 19-24: +/-, number grid puzzles, and order
Questions 25-29: Shapes (joining, sides/corners) and Capacity
This product was designed for a first grade classroom and complements the Origo© Stepping Stones© 1st grade math curriculum Mods 1-6 but could easily be used with students in K-2 depending on the skill level of the students.
