This 100th Day of School Paste a Prompt writing prompt page was created to motivate reluctant writers in grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 by adding elements of choice to writing time.
Paste a Prompt pages give students three choices of prompt, located at the bottom of the page. Students then cut out and paste the desired prompt into the box at the top of the page and write their responses to the prompt below.
All pages are provided with three line options. Choose the option that best fits the needs of your students.
Bordered blank and lined pages are also included to copy onto the back of the page should your students need additional room to write or illustrate their responses.
Paste a Prompt activities work well in writing centers, but could also be done as a whole class activity.
I hope your class enjoys these prompts as much as mine has!
