Writing activities...

Different Prompts-- some fun writing prompts for the 100th day of school.

100 Random Thoughts Book--As a class work together to create a book with 100 pages. Each student was assigned a certain number of pages to write their random thoughts. Then I bound the pages together into a book.

Reading activities...

Read for 100 minutes-Throughout the day stop and allow students to read for 5 or 10 minutes or more depending on your schedule. Have students record the number of minutes on the I can read for 100 minutes chart. Have a celebration once the class has read one hundred minutes.

We Can Read 100 books!-For this activit,y work as a class and collectively read 100 books. Have students write the title and author of the book as they finish each book.

Math activities...

We can solve 100 problems—Have the students worked together to solve 100 addition and subtraction problems. Each person writes their initials on the problem card once completed and glue the problems on the class poster.

100 ways to make 100—Have the students worked with a partner to create 100 different equations equaling to 100.

Roll 100—The goal of this activity is to reach 100. Have students roll a die. Then color in the number of squares to match the number rolled. Before beginning Have students make a prediction, guessing the number of rolls it would take to reach 100.

Solving 100 problems—Have students practice their basic addition and subtraction facts by solving 100 practice problems.

Other fun activities...

100 Acts of Kindness-Throughout the day, have students document acts of kindness on the class poster. Print as many cards as needed.

100 Objects Stations-For this activity, students can rotate through the stations to complete the task. There is a journal for students to record their work at each station.

I can complete 100 exercises!-A quick and fun activity that allows students to move and stretch.

Snack Time Fun-A fun activity involving the 100’s chart and snacks.
