I designed this to be used as a culminating activity for a Colonial Times unit of study. It can be used alone or would work well in conjunction with the 100th day of school as it focuses on "100 Ways My Life Would Be Different If I Lived in Colonial Times". Why should Kindergarten and First grades be the only ones having fun on the 100th day of school? I have included a general project letter for parents/students that outlines the project, my historical journal writing rubric (also sold on its own in my store), a rubric for creating a historical costumes, a rubric for participating in historical activities while portraying a character/time period, and an exit slip for how life is different then vs. today. I did not include the actual activities, just a general list. I found many activities online to use, and chose the ones I thought we could implement. You can choose any activities you think would be best for your class and the assessment and rubrics will work with any of them.
