Celebrate 100 Days of School with a hat/ crown! Students can choose from one of four designs and color their crown. Then, they can count and color 100 shapes to make the band of the hat.
The four designs are:
"Hip-hip Hooray, It's been 100 days!"
"My first 100 days were lovely" with hearts (It's getting close to Valentine's Day
"100 Days of Super Learning" for the superheroes in your classroom
"100 Days Smarter" for all your little geniuses.
You can view all of them in the preview.
Want to mix in some math ideas?
1. Have students color the 100 shapes with 2-3 colors, then make a tally chart to describe the number of objects for each color. They could even make a pictograph or bar graph from this day.
2. Have students color the shapes in groups of 2, 5, 10. They can determine how many 2s make up 100, how many 5s, how many 10s.
3. Before telling/ reminding students that it is the 100th day of school, ask students to estimate the number of shapes. Then, have students count them. (It's a quick formative assessment of which students can accurately count to 100.)
