For this activity, the students will work on different ways to make number sentences that equal 100. This is open ended, so it's very easy to differentiate. Some of my students may use very simple equations, while others will apply the order of operations to create more complex problems that equal 100. I will let the students work cooperatively over short periods of time throughout the day and week if needed. I want them to have the opportunity to discuss different types of equations and discuss misconceptions.
