In this adorable 100 day of school math craftivity your students will love making Uncle Wolf from The Wolf's Chicken Stew by Keiko Kasza and applying counting skills while using manipulatives (we used cookie cereal). They will record counting strategies and can even create their own class book. This is a great lesson for differentiated instruction. Students can practice counting to 100 by 2, 4, 5, 10, 20, and 25! It is a perfect activity for the winter season and the 100th day of school and looks wonderful as a bulletin board.
