This document contains a set of nine mystery picture puzzles, targeted at different skill levels, all leading to the number 100. These would be great as a 100th day of school activity, but they can be used at other times of the year too.
There are three "basic" puzzles, three "intermediate" puzzles and three "advanced" ones.
The "basic" puzzles are simple number searches and are meant to be used to practice number recognition and place value, with a little bit of spatial reasoning thrown in too.
The "intermediate" puzzles require a better understanding of place value. A number might be presented as tens plus ones (ex: 40+7 instead of 47), or the student might be asked to add or subtract 1 or 10 to get to the solution.
The "advanced" puzzles contain more involved additions and subtractions and are designed to help the students notice patterns and develop mental math skills.
I have included all the answer keys in the the preview file, so you can take a look and see if this material might be right for your students.
I am new on TpT, so if you like my work please consider leaving some feedback, thanks!
