Do you need higher level questions for students to use during a lesson, while they're working on a project, or for their sketchbook/journals as a writing assignment? This handout (5 pages long) gives many examples of Bloom's Lower level to Higher level questions used for Jr. High and High School art classes. There are 105 questions in all with MANY on the higher level.
It will help you to organize your questioning from the Knowledge lowest level to Comprehension questioning to Applying, Analyzing, Creating, etc. It is all broken down for you. Included are many examples of questions for many different projects, content, etc.
There are at least 12 examples of questions in all areas of the Bloom's categories and many more than that in some of the areas. Examples of questions range from the Elements and Principles of art to Art History, etc. I've included many examples; e.g. drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, etc and they're all organized under each of the Bloom's areas.
Also, the 4 Steps to Art Criticism are included within this handout along with many examples of them, too. They are under the correct Bloom's categories too. This would be very nice to have if you need a nicely organized 'Questioning handout' that can be used with all of your classes. Also, if you would like to add to this extensive list, it would be readily available for you to do that.
Two famous paintings are also listed along with many questions for each of the paintings. This could also easily be adapted to use as a study guide.
