10A-Describe the interactions that occur among systems that perform the functions of regulation, nutrient absorption, reproduction, and defense from injury or illness in animals
Have students randomly draw a body system topic and them provide them with the following graphic organizer. Have them fill out the 10 Facts portion and the Diseases portion before they transfer their information to a Presentation Board. The third item they construct is a 3-D Model; restrict them from using Clay or Food and you will be amazed by what they create (and your classroom will become a body system museum as they begin to turn in their presentation boards and models).
Have fun, don't forget to update the dates and references provided to students. Use the textbooks or webpages you shared with them during your lecture/introduction to body systems.
Have student present their findings; reinforce connections between what they share and the four interactions mentioned: regulation, nutrient absorption, reproduction, and defense from injury or illness.
